The Embrace Vest Pattern.
From the beginning our vision for SUNDRI was to create many things of different kinds ~ not just organic hemp wear for little ones, but slow-made treasures that could be created by hand, with heart. And knitting vests and sharing patterns was always part of that dream.
We wanted to design a vest for the cooler months that you could knit up quickly, even in the cracks of motherhood ~ and so, the Embrace Vest was born.
Designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, this timeless little is worked from the bottom up, then split at the armholes to shape the front and back. Ribbed edges on the hem, armholes, and neckline give a tidy finish and help prevent rolling. Slightly oversized for a relaxed fit, it's perfect for layering through the seasons.
Needles: 6mm circular needles for he ribbing and 8mm for the body.
Yarn: 12ply
Gauge: 13 Stitches x 18 rows = 10cm in stockinette stitch.
Skill level: Beginner-friendly and designed with busy mamas in mind.

Such a great vest for kids! Perfect to layer in the cooler months or over a tshirt on warm days. I have now knitted 4 and the kids love them. The pattern is easy to follow and knits up quickly.
