The Embrace Vest was one of the first pieces we dreamt up for SUNDRI — something you could knit by hand, with heart, even in the small pockets of motherhood. A slow-made treasure that grows with your little one through the seasons.
Designed with simplicity and comfort in mind, this vest is worked from the bottom up, then split at the armholes to shape the front and back. Ribbing at the hem, neckline and armholes gives a neat, tidy finish and helps prevent rolling. Slightly oversized for a relaxed fit, it's the perfect layering piece for cooler days.
You’ll need:
- Needles: 6mm circular needles for ribbing and 8mm for the body (80cm). You can find our recommended knitting needles here .
- Yarn: Bulky/super bulky yarn.
- Gauge: 13 stitches × 18 rows = 10cm in stockinette stitch.
- Skill level: Beginner-friendly and gentle to follow, even in the small pockets of your day.
