Treasure Bag • Together Class (Digital Only)

Teach Your Child to Knit — using the tools you already have at home.

This digital-only option gives you full access to our Treasure Bag • Together Knitting Class - all the guidance, stories, rhymes and videos, without the physical kit.

Created for complete beginners (ages 4+), the class gently leads you and your child through making a knitted Treasure Bag together, with calm, simple lessons you can pause and revisit anytime.

No prior knitting experience needed. Just your own needles, yarn and a desire to sit close, slow down and make something by hand.

What You’ll Need at Home

To follow along with the class, you’ll need a few simple supplies of your own:

  • A pair of wooden knitting needles 5-6mm will work best
  • Chunky / 16ply wool — enough to knit one small shoulder bag
  • 1 button for the flap
  • A tapestry needle, embroidery needle for the button + scissors
  • Optional: a little project bag or basket to tuck their work into

If you’d love everything chosen and curated for you, we also offer a full Treasure Bag • Together Kit with all tools included which you can find here

A gentle rhythm for slow, heart-led learning

Families love this class not only for the finished Treasure Bag, but for the rhythm it brings — a small ritual of sitting close, moving hands slowly and creating something real together.

Whether you’re new to knitting or returning to it after many years, the lessons are designed to feel calm, clear and doable, with plenty of room for pauses, wobbles and giggles along the way.

The best knitting course for learning alongside kids

My daughter is 6, and she is so proud of her finished work. From complete beginners to experienced knitters, the course is great in providing tools to guide young kids along. I’m a beginner myself, and every single step was explained so well so I never felt lost. I’m glad I found this course!

Well thought out and clear tutorial

Well thought out and clear tutorial. This made teaching my 9 year old daughter less daunting and more fun. They even helped me stay calm when things got tricky by normalizing a lot of scenarios that might happen in the learning process. So much hard work and intentionality put into this course. I am thankful for it all.

Easy to follow! Good rhyme and story!

I got the e-version of the kit and was so excited to start it. Zero experience in knitting, and at the age of40yo, it was made so easy. My girls were observing me the whole time and now they can’t wait to try it too!! Can’t wait to add to this our list of common hobbies to do together!
