This beautiful hand-dyed wool is spun from 100% Corriedale and created in small batches by artisan dyers through a Fair Trade cooperative in Uruguay. Naturally soft, strong and full of character, its smooth, rounded structure gives each stitch lovely definition and lets even simple textures really shine.
As a 12ply/ Aran weight yarn, it knits up quickly into warm, durable pieces with that grounded, natural feel we love. We’re so proud to stock this yarn and share the story and hands behind each skein.

from 168 reviewsOhnestly the best. Gave me the basic legs of knitting and an easy to follow pattern. Now ive made 3 beanies and onto making a jacket (from another pattern) but with more confidence and understanding to be even able to read a pattern. Thank you!!
I have tried and tried to get into knitting over the years and never finding a course or teacher that made me want to trust the process and the learning journey. I feel like the beam beanie course has opened to me up to my favourite new hobby that will not only inspire me to keep whipping up beanies but explore circular knitting with other patterns too. Couldn’t be more grateful to Caroline and Ellyot❤️🧶
After knitting a scarf and some dishcloths, this was the first proper knitting project I'd done. I'm so excited to have made an actual piece of clothing that my daughter can wear! The pattern was achievable for a beginner knitter and the customer service was excellent. I'm already planning my next project.
Had so much fun learning to knit the bloom crop! The video lessons were so great, very clear and easy to follow. I was surprised how quickly it came together! I knitted my second bloom crop on the beach yesterday, using the pattern this time. So happy with how the pieces turned out. I'm excited to be able to make hand made, beautiful gifts for all my friends having babies 🧜🏼♀️🌸🌺 thank you for teaching me! I can't wait to make the vest, next!!
I'm so glad I purchased the kids crop full course and kit. There were a few hurdles to work through but I eventually got there. I had the most basic knitting background I could knit a square. The course instructions and videos were so good. An awesome way to begin learning new terminology and techniques and create something gorgeous and functional all together. Something so satisfying anout this. Thanks ladies!
I love this pattern, actually all of the knitting patterns are well constructed and thought out for all level knitter. I have reconnected to my passion for knitting and I use it as a mindful and relaxing ritual.
I highly recommend this beautiful business and their products.
such a thorough pattern. as a beginner knitter, it was so easy to follow along. highly recommend!
Love this beautiful cotton yarn!!
Vest is so cute! So satisfying to knit something for my kids they can wear, and turned out great. I've knitted before but simpler things like scarves + beanies. This was my first time knitting proper clothing. Pattern was clear, however struggled with my magic loop. Ended up doing the Beam beanie first for some personal encouragement/success before trying harder item. Also ended up buying Sundri's circular needles and they were so much better - the plastic loop connection was more pliable/flexible and so magic loop worked better! Unfortunately the online course wasn't available, so just used the pattern & any steps I didn't understand, Youtube was my friend to watch videos/examples. That worked well! Would recommend. Photo from before I did the final sleeve.
Great course. I've knitted before, so kind of knew what I was doing. But enjoyed the online course to see the long tail cast on, and the magic loop, and also loved the trouble shooting videos to fix mistakes! Would recommend. I've already made 3 beanies and am continuing going! Such an easy quick 'win' project to successfully finish, and my boys love theirs.
My daughter encouraged me to start knitting as she’s a keen creative. As I’d not picked up knitting in decades, starting with a simple task that o could complete in a weekend seemed the right choice. I loved how the beanie turned out and the colour choice is spot on. Thank you for clear simple instructions.
Stunning wool. So soft for sensitive skin. Knits up beautifully.
I have tried for so long to understand long tail cast on. This video was the easiest tutorial. It’s now my only cast on method.
Just trying to access the pdf so I can knit!
I love the vest I have created. Great pattern, easy to understand for me, a quite new knitter.
